Je copie colle ici la composition du conclave ainsi que l'explication à la présence de 10 membres au lieu des 9 annoncés initialement :
A message from the Citadel:
First and foremost, we want to thank you for your patience! This has been a difficult time for all of us and we appreciate you giving us the time to deal with our personal lives first.
Next, we want you to know that we are working on completing a player survey, constitution, and Restricted List update.
In the meantime, I am here to announce our Archmaester positions:
Grand Maester: Chris Schoenthal
Maester of APAC: Chewy Quah
Maester of Europe: Joshua Chambers
Maester of Americas: Chris Vac
Maester of Rules: Collin Weir
Maester of Operations: Caol Vancil
Maester of Tournaments: George Karabinis
Maester of Communications: Jessica Thompson
Maester of Design: Hanno Lünser
Maester of Development: Chris Thompson
Yes, you counted that right, we have ten Archmaesters!
Now, a message from our Grand Maester regarding this decision:
"Hey all, a quick note from the Grand Maester to provide a little peek behind the curtain. You'll note that we now have ten Archmaesters, rather than the nine that were elected. When myself and the other volunteers began working on plans for the initial election, the number of Archmaesters varied quite a bit as we went, even going all the way up to eleven at one point. During the final planning stages, we tried to cut this number down, mostly so it wouldn't be an 'overcrowded kitchen,' if you will. One of the ways we did this was to combine some positions- we initially considered combining Operations and Communications, for example. Ultimately, I decided that an odd number was important for voting purposes, and the final cut was to combine two positions that, in the hierarchy of the group that I modeled ours after, were two separate departments: Design and Development. The very short version of these jobs is that Design is responsible for creating the card text for new cards, while Development is in charge of the externalities of new cards (art direction, graphic design, theming). More detailed job descriptions will be posted at a later date.
When the nine of us put our heads together to determine who would do what, we realized that there were some secondary consequences of my conflating of those two positions, including WAY too much for Hanno to do- he can't be expected to lead a design team, lead playtesting, lead graphic design, lead localization...the list goes on. We then looked at the results of the election and saw that Chris Vac was next on the list. I posited that adding him would cause a natural positive cascade, with everyone filling roles that played to their strengths- Hanno would lead Design (as he had campaigned for), CT would lead Development (an organizing and logistics position that fits his skill set well), and Vac would slot cleanly into the Maester of Americas position that he has enthusiastically embraced. This seemed a far better solution than having one position overworked and others with imperfect fits given who remained.
This is not a decision we came to lightly, as you may have guessed by the time that it took for us to deliberate over it, but ultimately all nine initial Conclave members agreed that it was the correct solution. We understand that it comes with its own concerns, such as the even voting numbers on the Conclave, as well as questions regarding how the election might've been affected had we had all ten positions all along. I hope that you'll accept this explanation as honestly as it's been offered, and know that there was no ill or underhanded intent surrounding this decision. To forestall what I expect to be the next logical question, I don't anticipate any additional Conclave positions being needed going forward, though I wouldn't want to say it will NEVER occur. We are all extremely pleased with the ultimate outcome, and look forward to serving you as we begin the next stage in the game's life!"
