Castle Stahleck 2011 - 18-20 Nov - International post

at the end of the year i would like to send you this email, having a look back at the wonderful time we spent at castle stahleck this year.
unfortunately FFG didnt put up a report about this event, though it was promised (i tried several times and i was always fed with hopes, but it never happened).
anyway: if you feel a little bit nostalgic and want to bring back some memories, go the the stahleck homepage and have a look at the archive section:

you will find lots of stuff there, containing reports (including decklists), results and photos.
there is even a video about the AGOT final & the sunday prize ceremony (warning: this is very amateur-like!! i didnt know the voice was recorded as well all the time, but its in german):

now lets have a look into the future.
there will be some more Stahleck events in 2011 for all LCGs of course. however, it will be different. most likely there will be 2 events:
- 14-16 Oct 2011 (AGOT+LOTR)
- 18-20 Nov 2011 (WHI+COC)
18-20 Nov 2011 (AGOT+WHI+LOTR)

but note, that nothing is set in stone yet!! things might still change alot ...

The idea of an international section is good anyway !
But I am afraid most agot players must be chinese by now. So we should be posting in cantonese shouldn't we ?

The idea come from Alekyne and Arbhast during Regional Championnship of Paris 2011, last week.

I'm going to send a mp to Gualdo, Matamagos and Thorondor.

thanks for creating an international section. that should help to advertise itnernational events.

the reminds me: french players should hurry and register for the stahleck event! almost 70 players already registered, but only 2 french till now.

How that Thorondor.. entries to the tournament are that limited (and to how many players if so) ?

rooms enough still, dont worry (for up to 135 people). and there is some more space in the dungeons of the castle ...
but the room options have become less, so in case you want to make sure you get the room you want you should be quick. if you dont mind, i am sure to find a place somewhere.

Castle Stahleck will soon be renamed as The DreadFort. So they can receive you in the dungeon.....
